Bush Declines in Polls
Mood:  d'oh
Topic: What a Surprise!
Who could have predicted this one?

President Bush down in the polls? How could it be?

"Six in 10 respondents said Bush and GOP leaders are not making good progress on the nation's problems; of those, 67 percent blamed the president and Republicans while 13 percent blamed congressional Democrats. For the first time, a majority, 55 percent, also said Bush has done more to divide the country than to unite it." Washington Post - 6.8.2005.

Also, click here to read the Downing Street Memo It implies that the Bush Administration was fixing the intelligence around their plan to invade Iraq, while publicly stating they wanted a peaceful solution.

Sign on with a letter written by Congressman John Conyers, asking President Bush to come clean about the implications of this memo.

Of course, if cooking the intelligence about WMD to sell a war works, why not cook the scientific data that provides evidence that global warming is a serious problem caused by man made emissions? Click on this link to read more about Global Warming Emission Link

Famous quotes about deception.

"Don't confuse me with the facts!" Bart Simpson

"Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me." Confucious

Yes, that was the quote the President couldn't spit out, and attributed to the people of Texas & Tennesee.
He almost got the next one right.

"We won't get fooled again" The Who

"You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time."

Abraham Lincoln

Apparently, you can fool 51% of the people, and call it a mandate. The point is, Mr President, you shouldn't try to fool any of the people, any of the time. That it what we call, INTEGRITY.
